What is PPC?
PPC is an abbreviation for “Pay Per Click”, i.e. offering a price for a click on an ad. The most frequently used system is Google Ads which offers advertising in the form of searches, banner ads and video ads.
What are the advantages of PPC?
The greatest advantage of using PPC ads is their optimization based on data acquired via tracking codes. Such optimization is subsequently reflected in the return of investment, increase in sales and the customers’ satisfaction. More precise targeting means that the ad will be displayed only to a certain target group, city, area, etc. Displaying the ad at a certain time of a day when its success is the most probable is crucial in campaign planning.

PPC targets only relevant users who are looking for your services. Thanks to that, you can reach users who are very close to you when making purchasing decisions. A well-planned PPC can lure new visitors to your website, increase online sales, number of phone calls and filled-out forms, as well as encourage your customers to come back to you.

The most important PPC systems in Slovakia are Ads and Etarget. Facebook and its offer of PPC ads is also a strong tool. PPC systems in themselves are also offered by other two largest search engine companies, Yahoo and Microsoft.

Due to its universality, PPC ads should be a part of a marketing strategy of every business. Before advertising itself, however, it is necessary for the customer to have a working website, correctly inserted tracking codes and clearly stated goals they expect the ad to bring them.

The main aim of the advertising is to bring the most relevant audience, and acquiring the largest number of conversions, i.e. pre-set targets. In the case of an eshop it is the number of purchases, in the case of a hotel, a booking. When promoting services, an inquiry form or an ad with the option of direct contact via phone call are often used.
